The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is comprised of the Mathematical Institute (MAI) and the Institute for Mathematical Statistics and Actuarial Science (IMSV), and offers courses of studies in mathematics at the Bachelor's level, as well as two courses of study at the Master's level, namely, in Mathematics and in Statistics.
After the completion of Master-level studies it is possible to undertake doctoral studies in statistics or mathematics.
In addition the department regularly runs courses for students in other disciplines.
